Adult Learning, Competence and Active Citizenship: EU Presidency Conference

The conference is one of the main events in the field of education and training during the Finnish presidency of the Council of the EU.

The conference will discuss adult learning as a means of providing the entire labour force with competencies needed in changing working life and measures promoting active citizenship. The conference will also examine current aspects of multicultural learning and communication. The Commission's forthcoming communication on adult learning will be discussed and commented at the conference.

Ms Rocio Lardinois de la Torre and Mr Eric Fries Guggenheim will represent Cedefop on this occasion.
