Impact assessment of the Marie Curie fellowships

under the 4th and 5th Framework Programmes of Research and Technological Development of the EU (1994-2002)

The main findings of the study show that the Marie Curie schemes are essentially a very useful tool which make a good impact on the fellows and host organisations. In addition, they contribute to establishing the European Research Area by creating connections and bringing together knowledge and competences which would otherwise remain fragmented throughout Europe. For more details on the findings, please see the executive summary and conclusions of this report.
