Meeting of the General Directors of Vocational Education and Training (with Ministry of Education)

This meeting aims to:

• Contribute to the discussion and development of the themes stemming from the re-launched Lisbon Strategy and the Helsinki Communiqu 2006.
• Present the national initiatives for vocational education and training in Portugal and promote the discussion and exchange of experiences among Member States.
• Support and deliver European Commission the agenda in the field of Vocational Education and Training (VET).

Participants: Directors-General for VET from Member States, from Croatia and Turkey, from Norway and Iceland, representatives from the European Commission, Cedefop, the European Training Foundation and social partners at European level.
