The last issue of EQAVET newsletter for June 2019 has been published and ready to download.
Quality in vocational education and training is a main focus across Europe, starting with the relevant European recommendation. A fundamental step to consolidate quality assurance in Italy is the continuous debate among decision-makers, national and European experts, institutional representatives and stakeholders on the impact of the implemented policies and of proposed actions/activities to improve the quality of the training supply.

The important role of learning providers as vocational education and training (VET) stakeholders was stressed at the first annual meeting of the European community of leaning providers on 13 and 14 March at Cedefop in Thessaloniki.
A community of practitioners to promote quality in vocational education and training (VET) delivery has been set up by Cedefop in close cooperation with the European associations of VET providers active in the cooperative network Vet4EU2.
Participants at Cedefop's learning providers’ workshop (15 and 16 September, in Thessaloniki) identified six priority areas to work on in the 2017-20 period, with enhancing teachers' skills coming top.

The Cedefop seminar on 10 and 11 December discussed the needs and priorities of learning providers in relation to flexibility and the role quality is playing in it.
Participants at Cedefop's conference (26-27 November) on the impact of globalisation on vocational education and training (VET) agreed that the new connected world affects VET in multiple ways and that vocational skills have to be adaptable and at the centre of a global agenda.
