At the informal meeting of the Ministers in charge of Vocational Education and Training and Ministers in charge of Higher Education, held in Bordeaux on 26 November, Cedefop Director Aviana Bulgarelli announced the main results and messages from the policy reporting exercise Cedefop carried out in 2008, as part of its contribution to the Copenhagen process.
This exercise took stock of how far countries have progressed in modernising their training systems and in implementing European tools and principles such as the European Qualifications Framework (EQF). The main outcomes of the analysis are summarised in the Cedefop flyer, In the finishing straight: from Copenhagen to Bordeaux, issued today and available online in five languages. The full Policy Report will be published in March 2009.
