Cedefop has announced the results of its latest forecast on the demand and supply for skills. The event took place on 22 March at the European Economic and Social Committee in Brussels.

Cedefop has been producing skill forecasts regularly since 2008. These help policy makers better understand and anticipate  labour market needs.

This year's forecast, covering the period 2010-2020, sheds light on

  • the skills needed for tomorrow's jobs,
  • the potential risks of labour market imbalances and
  • implications for European, national and regional policy in employment and education.
