The European Credit System for Vocational Education and Training (ECVET) is a European instrument to support lifelong learning, the mobility of European learners and the flexibility of learning pathways.
ECVET has gained much attention and European countries have been working on its conception, development and implementation.
Around 220 VET policy-makers, providers, social partners, sector or branch organisations, researchers will gather on 31 may and 01 june 2012 in Brussels.
At the core of their debates and discussions, two questions:
- How far are we in Europe with the development of ECVET?
- How can we transform the current multitude of ECVET initiatives, projects and networks in a sustainable community of practice?
