Finance directors of Finnish vocational education and training (VET) providers visited Cedefop on 11 September accompanied by the country's Honorary Consul in Thessaloniki Marko Suomalainen to exchange information on recent VET developments in Finland and the European Union.

The group of 18 met with Cedefop Deputy Director Mara Brugia and Head of Communication Gerd-Oskar Bausewein.

Its leader, finance director of one of the biggest Finnish VET providers, Keuda International, gave a short presentation of the Finnish VET system and especially its financing.

From Cedefop’s side, the programme included presentations on early leaving from education and training, the Greek vocational educational system, the European qualifications framework, apprenticeships and work-based learning and the overall EU education and training strategy.
