The European Commission published guidance on 4 April to help Member State governments, businesses and workers understand their rights and obligations when companies post workers to another EU country. The guidelines, meant to facilitate implementation of the were published jointly to the Commission's amended proposal for a Services Directive.
"I urge the Member States to facilitate the provision of services throughout Europe, so that European workers can make full use of the benefits of the internal market while being well protected," said Vladimir Spidla, EU Employment, Social Affairs and Equal Opportunities Commissioner.
