The Council adopted a new European legal acts to facilitate mobility and improve quality in vocational education and training.

The recommendation of the European Parliament and of the Council on the establishment of the European Credit system for Vocational Education and Training, ECVET, aims at eliminating obstacles hindering identification, validation and recognition of learning outcomes acquired during a stay in another country.

This instrument will thus make it easier for people to move from one country or region to another because they can be sure that their learning achievements are adequately appreciated.
