The latest issue of the European Journal of Vocational Training has welcomed new EU Member States Bulgaria and Romania by devoting a special feature to their vocational training systems.

Articles included in this feature examine how the Romanian VET system interacts with general education and the labour market, and analyse the main features of initial training and adult education in Bulgaria. Of wider scope, but on related issues, is an examination of how European vocational policy contributes to reforms in the vocational education and training systems of EUs partner countries.
