Cedefop's Skills Panorama team received a best practice certificate within the European public sector award (EPSA) at a ceremony in Maastricht’s Town Hall on 20 November.

The EPSA 2017 aimed to reward public innovative solutions in administrations that show how the public sector is responding effectively to major challenges and is performing efficiently.

Skills Panorama, a European Commission initiative managed by Cedefop, features among 34 cases from 18 European countries and EU institutions/agencies that were identified as best practice by external independent evaluators (academics, practitioners or PA consultants).

Accepting the certificate on behalf of the team, Cedefop expert Alena Zukersteinova thanked her colleagues who are behind Skills Panorama's success of and the European Commission for entrusting Cedefop with the development of this labour market and skills intelligence platform.

Skills Panorama is open to the public. Policy-makers and experts are currently the primary target groups but from 2018 the website will provide its content in a way to accommodate also the needs of employment services and other guidance practitioners.
