Cedefop, in cooperation with the International Labour Organisation (ILO) and the European Training Foundation (ETF) is organising an expert seminar on financing skills development in Turin, Italy (9-13 March).
The purpose of the workshop is to provide an opportunity for knowledge-sharing about mechanisms of financing training and the conditions that need to be in place for specific systems to provide appropriate funding for skills development. It will allow participants to reflect and identify good practices.
Training sessions will highlight strengths and weaknesses of major financing mechanisms, zoom in worldwide on sector training funds, identify several private sector resources, provide costing and budget planning tools and visualise participation, roles and incentives from the perspective of employers’ organisations.
