The event was held under Cedefop premises in Thessalonica during 9th and 10th November 2006 contributing actively in the frame of European Workers Mobility year 2006.

The seminar focussed on reviewing the role of corporate training policies and recognition of qualifications in encouraging occupational mobility tackling also the meaning and consequences of geographical mobility as regards of current and future functioning of European labour market.

Attending to both nature of European Monitoring Centre (EMCC) and Cedefop key target groups, this company network seminar had an audience profile composed by managers and directors of Human Resources of companies, experts and researchers on social education domains and social partners.

Also, the joint organisation of the event has been the first milestone in the framework of recently starting mutual cooperation between Eurofound and Cedefop agencies.
