The challenges and choices facing European vocational education and training (VET) were discussed at a virtual and highly interactive workshop, organised by Cedefop on 26 and 27 November.

Over 400 participants discussed the future of vocational education and training (VET) at a conference organised jointly by Cedefop and the European Commission as the centrepiece of the European vocational skills week 2018 on 7 and 8 November in Vienna.
Cedefop hosted the 23rd ECVET (European Credit system for VET) users group and the ECVET network meeting at its premises in Thessaloniki on 11 and 12 October.
A series of reports is being produced as part of Cedefop’s ongoing project on the changing nature and role of vocational education and training (VET) in Europe.
Cedefop has launched an online survey as part of the project Changing nature and role of vocational education and training (VET) in Europe. The project aims to improve our understanding of how VET is changing in the European Union countries (including Norway and Iceland) and to support the European Commission in setting objectives for post-2020 European cooperation in VET.
