On 22 July, a 16-strong delegation of journalists, representing a wide range of Bulgarian media, visited Cedefop for an information seminar on the Centre’s work. The group also included members of the European Commission Representation in Sofia as well as academics from the University of Sofia.
The seminar included a presentation on how Cedefop reports on developments in VET throughout the European Union, and how VET is being implemented across Europe to deal with the current economic crisis. Sessions were also devoted to the teachers’and trainers’ network and on developments in national qualifications frameworks across the EU. The journalists were then given a tour of Cedefop’s library and documentation service. The group returned to Cedefop on 23 July for a presentation by the School of Journalism of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki.
