Activity 3: How can we monitor a learner who has left his or her studies?

The are two versions of this activity available for two target groups:

1. Monitoring of early leavers by national, regional or local level authorities

Target group: government representatives at national, regional or local level in the field of VET.

Duration of the activity: 40 minutes.

Type of exercises: guided consultation of Cedefop VET toolkit for tackling early leaving, and work in small groups. Plenary sessions involving participants in several small groups can follow at the end of the activity to discuss the results.

2. Monitoring of early leavers by VET providers

Target group: VET practitioners.

Duration of the activity: 40 minutes.

Type of exercises: individual work, guided consultation of Cedefop VET toolkit for tackling early leaving, and work in small groups. Plenary sessions involving participants in several small groups can follow at the end of the activity to discuss the results.
