7.1.1. ENSURING THE QUALITY OF MOBILITY EXPERIENCES
The country has taken actions in the following dimensions:

Linguistic preparation
Before any exchange visit or individual mobility stay takes place, the CCGPE ensures that the institutions provide their mobility candidates with preparation in relation to
- Everyday words and phrases (politeness conventions, commonly-used words for getting around, food, etc.)
- Vocabulary related to their area of work: they should compile a glossary - either in English or in the language of the host country

Social and cultural preparation
Cultural pointers which will enable learners to understand certain attitudes, certain customs and certain types of behaviour are provided. Learners also receive preparation in how to behave appropriately:
- respecting working hours and the people with whom they come into contact
- using politeness conventions (hello, goodbye, thank you...)
- being sociable and friendly
- managing their mobile phone account - roaming charges
- etc.

Stay monitoring
The CCGPE remains in contact with the home partner and the host partner and is available for consultation when required. One or more accompanying adults (instructors or teachers from the institution concerned) is/are there throughout the period of mobility.

Feedback collection
The CCGPE:
- organises a debriefing session at the end of the mobility project with the home AND host partners;
- submits the final report.
It can, if necessary, provide representatives on site to take part in the process of evaluating the host partner and the quality of the mobility project.

Transport, accommodation, catering
The home institutions are responsible for booking transport and accommodation.

In Wallonia, supervisors of IFAPME (1 for every 10 apprentices max) oversee the language immersion programmes throughout the stay of the apprentices.
