This seminar will use research findings and insights developed by the five EU Agencies under the responsibility of DG Employment, Social Affairs and Inclusion (Cedefop, Eurofound, EU-OSHA, ETF and ELA) to engage in a discussion on post-pandemic employment, skills and social policies that work for young people.
Taking a youth-centred perspective to reflect on and interpret evidence will be a basis for identifying key issues and trends challenging public policy making. Bringing together the complementary work of the Agencies can assist EU policy makers in taking a more holistic and integrated perspective and help them in shaping policies to engage and support young Europeans in times of disruption and transition. Apart from offering expert insight, the agencies also aim to stimulate discussion among policy makers, young people and social partners to identify knowledge gaps that research and policy analysis can address.
