CareersNet, Cedefop’s network of independent national experts for lifelong guidance and career development, will convene again remotely for its fifth annual meeting on 9 and 10 December 2021. The event partner this year is the Slovenian Ministry of Education, Science and Sport Department of Educational Development and Quality.
The meeting participants will discuss current topics and network activities that took place in 2021 and those planned for the next period. This will include the ongoing updates in 2021-2022 of the online EU+ Inventory of lifelong guidance systems and practices, updating of the network Charter, and new members will be oriented and welcomed. Mutual exchange of experiences in what regards current national developments in cooperation, collaboration and partnerships surrounding guidance systems, will also be a priority, particularly as new directions are charted following the pandemic experiences.
The event will include thematic presentations by invited representatives working in guidance from the partner institution. Thematic discussion topics may include monitoring and evaluation in career guidance (within the context of quality), new developments in labour market and skills intelligence (including foresight, green transitions, green guidance) and its implications for career guidance, and guidance for individuals with disabilities. As usual, there will be plenary sessions and groupwork, peer exchange opportunities and news from Cedefop.
The event is for members and representatives of the partner institution and is by invitation only.
