Modernising vocational education and training - Preparation of the 4th Report on VET research in Europe

Modernising vocational education and training is the overarching theme of the 4th research report. It will address the Copenhagen Declaration (2002) and in particular the 2004 Maastricht Communique in which Education Ministers, the European social partners and the European Commission set priorities for reforming VET to contribute to the Lisbon process. As in the previous editions, the research report will rely on contributions by Cedefop internal and external experts in different fields of VET-relevant research.

During the seminar, contributors to the 4th research report will present the outcomes of their work, while emphasising the implications for policy and further research.

The 4th Research Report is scheduled to be published in 2007 by Cedefop.
