This ICEF event will host educational agents, study abroad advisers and student recruiters from around the Arab world as well as other regions and countries in the geographical vicinity, e.g. North Africa, Iran, Pakistan, Bangladesh and India.

Similar to most parts of the world and due to tightened US visa regulations, recent years have seen a new trend of Middle Eastern students increasingly looking elsewhere than the United States the traditional number one study destination - for language and tertiary education abroad. Statistics published by monitoring organisations have clearly shown a rise in student enrolments in Australia, Canada, the UK, Ireland and a number of countries in continental Europe.

The ICEF MIDDLE EAST WORKSHOP is therefore aimed at various education provider target groups:
Education providers in English speaking countries wishing to take advantage of the latest student mobility trends
US educational institutions which have a strong tradition of receiving Middle Eastern students, as well as those able to offer e-learning programmes or which have a campus in the Middle East or elsewhere outside the United States.
Universities, language centres and educational establishments offering vocational training in locations which are becoming more attractive to Middle Eastern students, for example Germany, France, the Netherlands as well as the Scandinavian countries.

The event will be organised according to the usual stringent ICEF quality standards, i.e. not only in terms of venue and organization, but above all in the careful screening and selection of the agencies which will be in attendance.
