The SKILLSNET e-bulletin March 2016 Issue has just been send to skillsnet members and published here in a pdf format.
A new joint report on green skills and innovation for inclusive growth by Cedefop and the Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) provides evidence and policy analysis to foster an equitable shift to greener economies and more sustainable societies.
Experts from international organisations including ILO, Unesco, Unitar, the World Bank and universities, as well as country delegates, met at the 2nd Cedefop/OECD Green skills forum in Paris, on 14 February, to discuss how environmental policies can successfully be implemented in combination with policies for job creation and social inclusion.
Cedefop’s research on how to improve the responsiveness of European education and vocational education and training (VET) systems has been endorsed in a series of recent publications by the European Commission. These publications aim to inform EU Member States on challenges and required actions to achieve the education and employment targets of the EU2020 strategy.
