At a meeting jointly organised by Cedefop and the Greek Ministry of Labour, Social Insurance and Social Affairs in Athens on 11 April, Cedefop presented to key Greek stakeholders the final results of the country support project ‘Governance of skills anticipation and matching in Greece: in-depth country review’.
Cedefop has released new insights on skills and jobs in seven European countries. After several years of development, the agency presents first results of this new type of labour market intelligence, based on information from more than 30 million online job vacancies collected in the second half of 2018 in Czechia, Germany, Spain, France, Ireland, Italy and the UK.
Since 2017, and on their request, Cedefop has been working intensively with national authorities and stakeholders in Greece, Estonia, Bulgaria and Slovakia, to support them in strengthening their skills anticipation and matching capacities.
