The conference has two overall themes: labour migration and the development potential of circular migration. The conference is intended for officials and experts, and aims at contributing to policy development within the EU.
The Swedish Presidency of the European Union will organise a conference on Labour Migration and its Development Potential in the Age of Mobility in Malm, Sweden from 15 to 16 October 2009.
The conference has two main themes:
- Labour Immigration, and
- Circular Migration and its Development Potential. The overarching aim is to contribute to the policy development within the EU in these two areas.
