Motivation for people with lower qualifications for lifelong learning

This research project funded by Leonardo da Vinci aims to provide information on how to improve the participation-rate of people with lower qualifications in continuing vocational education and training.


Research goals:

  1. Analysis of the motives and the obstacles to participation in Continuing VET encountered by employees with lower qualifications.
  2. Case studies of specific strategies of Continuing VET for employees with lower qualifications. Analysis of employers perspectives on the willingness employees with lower qualifications to participate in Continuing VET.
  3. Comparative analysis of the differing perspectives of employers and employees to participation in Continuing VET.

The final report has just been published.
