Spattini Silvia is a researcher in labour law and labour market law at the Marco Biagi Foundation – University of Modena and Reggio Emilia.

She lectures in the Second-level University Degree in Labour Relation of the Faculty of Economics at the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia.

She is member of the Editorial Office of Diritto delle Relazioni Industriali (Giuffrè) and of the Editorial Office of The International Journal of Comparative Labour Law and Industrial Relations.

Her research interests, in an EU and comparative perspective, mainly concern: apprenticeships and school-to-work transition; the regulation, organisation and public intervention in the labour market; public and private employment services and information systems for matching the supply and demand for labour, and in this connection she has contributed to various research projects run by the Marco Biagi Centre for International and Comparative Studies and ADAPT.

She is the author of a number of scientific papers and commentaries on case law.
