Elisabeth Arnold is deputy director for vocational training in the French Ministry of Education. She participates in the meetings of the EU Directors-General for Vocational Education and Training (DGVT). She has the task of preparing, implementing and evaluating education policy in the field of vocational training (secondary level). She is responsible for the development of professional diplomas, in partnership with the economic interest groups, for the rules laying down the conditions for the award of those diplomas, and for the holding of examinations. She also helps to develop CVET by steering and regulating the adult training activities of the national education system.
