Volmari Kristiina

Senior adviser
Kristiina Volmari works at the Finnish National Board of Education within international information exchange within education and training. The main part of her work is related to the European networks of Eurydice, Refernet and TTnet. Kristiina is specialised in issues connected to teaching professions, particularly in vocational education and training. Her 20–year teaching career and involvement in a number of European projects and working groups related to the teaching professions have given a particular insight into these questions.

A more recent area of interest has been combining her doctoral research in organisational communication with her expertise related to teaching professions into reflection on how institutional communication can support schools in becoming collegial communities and learning organisations.
