Ouzoun Dagmar

Policy Officer – Vocational Education and training, European Commission
Dagmar Ouzoun is a German National Expert working in the European Commission since February 2006.
In DG EAC she is in charge of ensuring the policy developments and related studies in Vocational Education and Training (VET), in particular the follow-up of the education and training 2010 work plan in the area of teachers and trainers in vocational training (Peer learning activities, clusters, studies, projects). Furthermore, she ensures the follow-up of the issues linked to mobility in vocational training, in particular the mobility of apprentices, studies and analyses of the outcome and impact of the Leonardo da Vinci mobility action.
She worked previously as a counsellor for international cooperation in education and training in Germany, as a director of a vocational training centre, as a pedagogic director of a vocational institute for continuous training, as a lecturer in vocational teacher education and training and in the training of in-company trainers.
She has been project leader on a number of large-scale international projects covering the triangle economy, research and education and training.
She studied pedagogical science and psychology at the Universities of Tübingen and Düsseldorf and holds a Diploma (MA) in Pedagogical Science.
