Throughout the past twelve years, Anna has been working as a consultant in a wide range of evaluation and transnational research studies focusing on the thematic areas of education, training and skills, lifelong learning, employment, local development, inclusion and the social economy. Projects that Anna has worked on have covered, among other themes: the European employment strategy; training and support for young people and disadvantaged groups; local responses to unemployment; the job creation potential of the social economy; initiatives promoting equal opportunities and combating unemployment.
Anna has been involved in a variety of EU-wide comparative studies as well as country-specific studies, including fieldwork in many EU member states. Past research and evaluation assignments have entailed developing methodological tools, analysing qualitative and quantitative data, and data collection through surveys, interviews, focus groups and case studies entailing consultation with a wide range of actors, such as EU officials; national, regional and local government representatives; social partners; NGOs and many others.
Anna is currently the project manager for the Study on the Compilation of Good Practice on Professional Development Opportunities for In-company Trainers, which GHK Consulting Ltd is carrying out for Cedefop.
