The forum, co-organised by the European Commission and Cedefop with the support of the ECVET team, was a resounding success. About 230 policy makers, training providers, and social partners took enthusiastic part in open discussions and intense workshops.
As the foremost gathering of all parties interested in the credit system, the Forum provides an opportunity to develop the ECVET community as a vivid space for exchange and innovation. This year's Forum was conceived as a community of practice - to make visible to all participants how useful such an approach would be not only in each country, but across themes and sectors.
In discussing the challenges related to ECVET implementation, and reflecting upon the the roles and resources of the system's stakeholders, the Forum succeeded in creating a shared vision of how to consolidate and implement ECVET throughout Europe.
