The social partners' house.
The social partners’ house is a Cedefop information platform for supporting the main stakeholders in lifelong learning policies at European, national, regional and sectoral levels.

The social partners play a key role in education, training and employment at all these levels through social dialogue in various initiatives: negotiated training agreements, adopting joint programmes, promoting and planning lifelong learning activities, developing education and training practices, joint contributions, providing training for groups at risk in the labour market, social inclusion, etc.

The information structure complements the 2003-2005 work programme of European social partners and the new work programme for 2006-2008 by:

covering themes related to achievements, projects, experiences and good practices carried out on lifelong learning topics;
providing specific information sources on lifelong learning.

Cedefop is now creating new space for the social partners house to provide updated records and communications between social partners and Cedefop. We offer up-to-date information including news, events and links to numerous information sources and social partners organisations across Europe.

If you have any specific questions please contact J. Manuel Galvin Arribas .

Cedefop Sectoral Training Database offers you concrete examples of initiatives and projects to develop training or training related actions at sectoral level in Europe. The database contains only projects co-funded by EU programs, in particular by the Leonardo da Vinci, Equal and the article 6 of the European Social Fund programs until 2005. If you would like to search projects after 2005, please visit the Leonardo da Vinci Programme databases portal where you can access various portals that are useful for project promoters while planning and implementing their projects.
