Cedefop experts Tina Bertzeletou and Irene Psifidou represented Cedefop at the 27th annual conference of the European forum of technical and vocational education and training (EfVET) in Italy’s Lake Como between 24 and 27 October

The conference provided the 300 participants with a comprehensive picture of the latest vocational education and training (VET) developments and trends in the European Union and beyond.

School-enterprise relations, internationalisation strategies of VET colleges, higher VET and higher apprenticeships, industry and innovation 4.0, management and leadership skills, and VET for social inclusion and labour market integration were the themes of the six workshops.

In her keynote speech, Ms Bertzeletou presented the Cedefop project she is coordinating on the European community of learning providers, of which EfVET is an active partner assuming also the chair of the community’s working group 2 on learning mobility of teaching staff.

Ms Psifidou moderated two panel discussions, one about industry and VET and the other about Erasmus+ and beyond. She also spoke in the workshop named after the project she leads at Cedefop (VET for social inclusion and labour market integration).
