Schools for the 21st century : Commission Staff Working document

The document is the basis of the constation process on challenges facing schools and school systems; it serves to highlight the significant pressures under which they operate.
It concludes that the institution of the school cannot remain static if it is to serve as a foundation for lifelong learning and to contribute fully to Member States' social and economic prosperity.
