Cedefop participated in the international conference on employment effects evaluation and job creation organised by the Ministry of Employment and Labour (MOEL) and the Korea Employment Information Service (KEIS), which took place in Seoul, Sout Korea, on 12 July 2012.

The conference was the first in its kind to take place in South Korea, and was held under the theme 'Methodology and policy of employment effects evaluation', 'Labour market and employment policy of OECD countries' and 'Renewable energy and green jobs'.

The conference was attended by more than 200 participants, including employment effects evaluation specialists of public and private institutions from Germany, England and the United States and experts from home and abroad, including those from Cedefop, the ILO, and the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics. During the conference, participants shared individual experiences on evaluation policies, methodologies and discussed ways to create green jobs.
