Workshop on: Curriculum innovation and reform: policies and practices
The Cedefop workshop on "Curriculum innovation and reform: policies and practices" will take place in Thessaloniki on 9-10 November 2009.
The aim of the workshop is to generate new knowledge and understanding about curriculum policies and practices in Europe and beyond and define new lines for future research.The focus of the workshop is on outcome-oriented (learning outcomes and competence-based) approaches to curriculum development, particularly (but not only) for vocational education and training.
30 experts with national and international expertise in this field from Denmark, England, Finland, Germany, Greece, the Netherlands, Lithuania, Poland, Romania, Scotland, Slovenia, Spain and the United States, as well as representatives from the European Commission, World Bank, OECD-CERI, UNESCO-IBE will present and discuss developments in the EU and beyond.
