Catch the Train: Skills, Education and Jobs

Together with the European Commission’s DG Education and Culture and the European Expert Network on Economics of Education (EENEE), the Center for Research in Lifelong Learning (CRELL) of the JRC is organizing the International Conference “Catch the Train: Skills, Education and Jobs" conference, at Tour Madou, Brussels (BE), on Monday 20th and Tuesday 21st June 2011.

This international conference responds to a request formulated by the Education Council to the European Commission to propose a benchmark on the role of education and training for employability. Employability is a key concept of the Europe 2020 flagship initiative “Youth on the move” and is also related to the flagship initiative "An Agenda for new skills and jobs".
