Training of trainers network (TTnet)

The training of trainers network (TTnet), located in 22 countries, was established by Cedefop in 1998 as a pan European forum for key players and decision makers involved in the training and professional development of vocational teachers and trainers. TTnet aims to foster cooperation between key national actors; produce recommendations, guidance and tools for practitioners and decision makers, and support implementation of EU priorities for VET teachers and trainers. : Inaugural meeting of working group on the professional development of trainers (30/01/2012) new; The European Commission and Cedefop are jointly launching a thematic working group on trainers in vocational education and training (VET), a contribution to European cooperation in education and training (ET 2020). The group is holding its inaugural meeting in Brussels on 2 February.

: Call for papers: Learning later in life – uncovering the potential of investing in an ageing workforce, Brussels, 21-22 September 2011 (19/05/2011); Cedefop and the European Commission are jointly organising a two-day international seminar on learning later in life and the impact of investing in an ageing workforce.
